Mak-a-zine: The BIG Carousel
Drop images onto the different faces of the carousel and onto the covers and bottom-image placeholders. The images should have an aspect ration of 1:1 to fill the faces completely. Clicking on a face will open three options:
- Switch between contain/cover for image: Once you have added an image to a face, you can use this command to choose whether the image on that face will be scaled to be contained completely in the face, or to cover the whole face. If you want images to cover the whole face without being cropped, use a square aspect ratio.
- Remove image: You may choose to remove the image.
- Set background colour: You may choose the background colour of a page to show if the page is empty or if the image is set to be contained in the page. You may also set the background colour of all pages using the BG button on the right of the screen.
- Hide page information: Press 'i' to hide the page information in the display.
Once done, press the PDF button (which may take a few seconds) to generate your pdf file ready to print double-sided (flip on long edge). Cut and glue the four different parts separately, then glue the parts together (matching the letters printed on them) into the foldable carousel as can be seen in this video (to-do). The PDF is generated for A3 paper, but can be scaled down to fit to A4.
